1) Nature of Services

Sea Trade Global provides technical advisory, engineering support and execution services. Any reports, opinions, recommendations or calculations are technical in nature and are provided on the basis of information available at the time of issuance.

2) No Statutory or Class Authority

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Sea Trade Global does not issue statutory certificates, does not perform statutory functions, and does not replace, supersede or assume the responsibilities of Classification Societies, Flag States, Port States or other competent authorities.

3) Claims Handling

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Sea Trade Global does not act as a loss adjuster, does not determine policy coverage, and does not provide insurance underwriting, coverage or legal advice. Coverage determinations remain with insurers/underwriters and appointed adjusters.

4) Reliance and Third-Party Use

Reports and deliverables are prepared for the exclusive use of the contracting client and for the agreed purpose. No third party may rely on any deliverable without Sea Trade Global’s prior written consent.

5) Limitation of Liability

Any liability of the Consultant, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the provision of technical and/or advisory services, shall be limited in accordance with the contractual terms agreed per engagement; in the absence of such agreement, such liability shall be limited and determined in accordance with English law, subject always to applicable law.

6) Confidentiality

All information received and all deliverables are treated as confidential, subject to contractual terms and applicable legal obligations.
